Freebie trading is great, and has been very good to me, but the earning potential is somewhat limited due to the nature of how it works and the time consuming aspect of processing trades. Affiliate marketing I believe has the potential to be far more lucrative. I have spent a great deal of time researching how affiliate marketing works and have looked into many programs, however Wealthy Affiliate is the only one that has appealed to me enough to want to join.
If you really want to take your marketing efforts to the next level and have access to expert advice and one on one assistance from true professionals, I highly recommend the Wealthy Affiliate forum. It's a paid subscription of $40/monthly ($30/month if you order an annual subscription), but well worth it. Everything related to internet marketing is covered and they give you a great value for the money you spend in my opinion. In addition to personal assistance and the forum of experts, they also give you free web hosting, keyword and product research tools, and everything you could want to know about affiliate marketing. I like the fact that there are so many success stories that people share about exactly how they went from nothing to making a ton of money. These people will help you through any problem you have including analyzing your ad campaigns and telling you exactly what you're doing wrong and how to fix it. They also have an 8 week action plan that is like a crash course in marketing and gives you all the tools you need to get the job done from research strategies and tools to the web hosting. I think it's amazing.
They also offer a generous affiliate program themselves, you get 50% of the fee for everyone you refer, recurring monthly. So if you refer someone, you get $20, then $20 for every month they remain a member. (There is also an annual membership that is only $30/month, for which the affiliate commision is $175/year).
